Donations to aid disaster zones / victims
From ShangHai
Within that 7 years' time frame, our Shanghai Jia Cheng had contributed 8 projects known as HOPE projects to build schools for children especially in rural China where education opportunity is scarce.
From Malaysia
In 2008, we donated 9 units of shop-lots and 1 unit of apartment for Tzu Chi Foundation Malaysia which is a non-governmental organization that focuses on international humanitarian. These shop-lots and apartment which is located in Taman Sentosa Klang is donated to Tzu Chi Foundation Malaysia so that they could carry out their humanitarian aid.
In 2011, we donated to Japan Red Cross Society during the earthquake and tsunami crisis that hit pacific coast of Tohoku. It was the most powerful earthquake ever recorded in Japan and fourth most powerful earthquake in the world.
In 2011, we also donated to Chong Kong Tong Temple Klang for the welfare of 29 children as well as for the temple's fund raising.
In 2012, to further contribute back to society through "Work of Heart ". We have donated to Pertubuhan Kebajikan Skizofrenia Malaysia (Home for the depressed, emotionally and mentally ill).
Montfort Boys Town an institution dedicated to helping, educate and nurture underprivileged youths to grow in a positive and stimulating environment. Montfort provides academically and financially challenged youths the opportunity to equip themselves with the right skills and guide them in recognizing their talents. Hence, in 2012, Cheng Hua recognizes that Montfort Boys Town is bringing up the future generation and we had donated 6 units of air conditioners.
On average, each diabetic patient has to endure 4 hours of dialysis treatment, 13 times a month for their whole life. In 2013, we continue our "Work of Heart" by contributing 11 units of air conditioners and 1 unit of refrigerator to the National Kidney Foundation Malaysia.
In 2013, we had also donated to Pusat Perjagaan Kanak-Kanak Cacat Klang. As a part of our contribution to society, we have taken the special privileges kids to Sunway Lagoon to spend the day. Furthermore, we have also made donations for their hiking expedition to Mount Kinabalu.
During the 2014-2015 Kelantan flood, we helped out by sending a group of our employees there to provide Kelantan flood victim food, medicine and we build 10 units of well at Kuala Krai.
We donated to Ray of Hope which is an non-profit organization that brings hope and train people with learning disability within the age group of seven to 20 years old.
During the 2020 coronavirus pandemic, Cheng Hua had stepped in to help out the community by supporting a charity project, “COVID-19 Fundraising for General Hospital” initiated by RHF. The objective of this fundraising campaign is to purchase various health equipments, such as portable HEPA filter air purifier, disposable video laryngoscope, air blanket warmer and pediatric video laryngoscope blades for Pusat Perubatan Universiti Malaya (UMMC). Besides that, Cheng Hua had contributed aprons, Tyvek’s protective garments and face masks to the Malaysian’s healthcare frontliners to help protect them as they continue their relentless fight against COVID-19.
Cheng Hua will continue to support the frontliners during this period of emergency in hopes that it will help bring a quick and safe end to this pandemic.

In 2023, Cheng Hua in collaboration with Dewan Undangan Negeri (DUN) and various businesses, is dedicated to creating a positive impact on the communities we serve.
The task at hand? Clearing away overgrown bushes, tangled vegetation and clogged drainage along the roads.
It was more than just tidying up; it was a mission to eliminate potential breeding grounds for mosquitoes and consequently, prevent dengue cases from emerging in the area.
Together, we have demonstrated the power of unity and community spirit. Together, we can pave the way for a brighter, safer and more vibrant future for everyone in our community. Thank you to all that was a part of this collective initiative!
