Hardware design engineers design and develop circuit panels and other devices. They work closely with software engineers to create control hardware such as panels, junction and operation boxes for customers’ projects, and working closely with manufacturing process to ensure quality assurance and specification meeting.

• Design circuit for control panels and operation boxes and ensure it complies with specifications.
• Perform printed circuit layout for manufacturing and installation team.
• Create, maintain and update engineering related aspects. (e.g. parts, bill of materials)
• Prepare the project schedule based on the adequate and sufficient details provided.
• Establish concept covering of control block, PLC architecture and operator interface flow.
• Ensure all work complies with the requirements of the quality system.
• Ensure the documentation of products and packing lists is accurate and well-maintained.
• Ensure components, processes and products are designed to maximise effective manufacture and efficiency requirements.
• Ensure product is manufactured in accordance with specifications provided by the engineering department.
Requirements:
• Degree/ Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/ Electronic) or equivalent.
• 1-3 years working experience in the field of Factory Automation or equivalent. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply too.
• Good knowledge of electrical and electronic principles and applications.
• Experience with analog/ digital circuitry.
• Good understanding and functional use of the operation of automated control systems including PLC hardware, ladder logic programming, and PLC software environments.
• Exposure preferably in manufacturing assembly, fabrication works, quality control and installation.
• Good analytical skills: specification, process, capacity, cost and quality tool.
• Project management and leadership ability.
